The charity auction of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague raised 1 077 477 CZK which will be donated to help Ukrainian students of the AVU.
Paintings, drawings or objects by about 80 artists from current students, teachers, lecturers or alumni. The auction itself took place on 9 October in the AVU main building and was preceded by a pre-auction exhibition and from 5 to 8 October. There are currently 25 Ukrainian male and female students studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague as long-term internships, and the school plans to support those interested in the traditional admissions process as well.
