A competition of artist’s books and book artifacts, conceiving the book as a medium for free artistic creation.
Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava and its Book Design Studio announces the second edition of the international BookVision competition for students of art colleges and faculties of education.
The expert jury will choose from three categories in which the contestants can enter: Artist’s books, Book-Object and Digital Book. The opportunity is open to artists who perceive the book as a free artistic creation, experimental medium in form or material, and books using digital or interactive means to communicate with the reader.
Interested artists can apply until 20 March 2023.
