Petra Hlaváčková and Lucie Valdhansová on an initiative by the House of Arts presents two hundred interesting objects and buildings in the centre and outskirts of Brno.

The publication is a follow-up to the successful guide to Brno’s interwar architecture and free internet database BAM – source of detailed information and a guide through the city.

Basic information and black-and-white photographs are arranged in eleven routes leading from the center to the outskirts of Lesná, Juliánov or Bohunice. In addition to the most famous buildings such as the White House, Prior, Continental and International hotels, ÚAN Zvonařka, Rondo or the Janáček Theater, special attention is also paid to the sports complex project in Lužánky or the period phenomenon, the so-called Z events. Completed with indexes and brief medallions of male and female architects.
