Current exhibition of works by students from FaVU, UMPRUM, AVU and FUD art universities.
As part of the closing of semester at art schools, individual universities present the work of their students at regular exhibitions: the Prague school of arts and design UMPRUM is holding the ARTsemester exhibition at the Jana Palacha Square from Friday 27 January to Wednesday 1 February. It offers outputs from a total of 25 studios dealing with environmental themes and sustainability. From 13 January to 15 January, AVU will present works of art in 4 AVU buildings. Brno’s FaVU is organising Enter FaVU on 21 and 22 January. A public exhibition of 17 studios, which, in addition to showcasing the works created, offers a glimpse into normally inaccessible places of the art faculty. From 9 February to 12 February in Ústí nad Labem, the Faculty of Art and Design of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University is holding an exhibition entitled Winter Harvest, presenting contemporary trends in art and design.
Did you miss any of the exhibitions mentioned above? At the end of the summer semester you can look forward to other regular exhibitions of contemporary art at Czech universities. For more follow their websites or social media.
