The exhibition promotes the meaning of science and innovation in the pursuit of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and introduces viewers to new trends in science, innovation and technology, including their impact on society.
The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by a presentation by Pavlina Louženská and Thea Kučerová, authors of the Trendspotting podcast, focusing on Czech trends in sustainability in various sectors and performances by Czech musician Never Sol.
The exhibition itself is further enhanced by a programme focusing on fashion sustainability: on September 3, there will be a one-day sustainable fashion festival dedicated to the topics of slow fashion, sustainable production of materials, upcycling, recycling, 3D fashion and more. The festival will feature Czech fashion designers such as Mikuláš Brukner, Julie Žil Vostálová, Tran Ngoc Yen, the Kunterakt brand and will end with a fashion show.
On 11 August, the Future Lab, an exhibition of innovative products, will present visions and ideas in the field of sustainable development led by Czech curator Veronika Pařízková. The design duo Herrmann & Coufal will present their studio, projects and approaches to sustainability in their product design.
