Jakub Hrůša, a leading Czech conductor, will become an honorary member of the Royal Academy of Music in London, alongside other notable musicians such as Hilary Hahn, Maria Joao Pires, and Kate Paterson. The Royal Academy of Music has been recognizing outstanding musicians from various fields since its founding in 1822. Hrůša has recently been awarded the International Classical Music Award for Symphonic Music and has extended his tenure as chief conductor of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra until 2026.
