SHAPE – Sound, Heterogenous Art and Performance in Europe

At the end of 2014, the SHAPE platform was launched under the leadership of the MeetFactory Prague International Center for Contemporary Art. Over the course of three years, it has served as a platform for experimental European musicians and artists who work with sound in an uncompromising and original way. Each year, representatives of all members jointly selected 48 musicians and artists from the fields of sound art and visual art. Selected artists were featured at platform members’ events. SHAPE presented a range of quirky music from all over Europe and provided lectures, discussions and workshops to audiences and experts.
