Summer Film School

The Uherské Hradiště Summer Film School has been the largest non-competitive film festival in the Czech Republic for many years. The event is not only a festival, but also offers systematic film and film instruction. Every year the festival program includes thematic lectures, discussions with prominent filmmakers, workshops (Film and School, Mini FAMU), seminars and discussion panels. The films are screened in 11 auditoriums and 2 summer cinemas throughout Uherské Hradiště. The Summer Film School is organized by the Association of Czech Film Clubs.
