The 9th International Translation Competition for emerging foreign translators from the Czech language.
The prize is for young translators under forty years of age, translating prose works by Czech authors. The translation competition is announced by the Czech Centre and the Czech Literary Centre, a section of the Moravian Library in Brno. The aim of the competition is to continuously support young foreign translators and Bohemian writers under the age of 40, as well as to promote and disseminate Czech literature abroad.
Interested applicants can send their translations until 31 March 2023.
