The famous ballet ensemble of Milan’s La Scala returned to its audience after a long pause. The Czech ballet virtuoso and choreographer Jiří Bubeníček made his premiere on this world-famous stage for the first time during his rich career.

For three evenings (from June 9 to June 11) La Scala program presented “Four Choreographers Soirée” consisting of works by Manuel Legris, artistic director of La Scala Ballet, Andras Lukacs, Alexei Ratmanski, and Jiří Bubeníček.

Bubeníček’s La Scalla choreography for the male trio on Pachelbel’s “Canon in D major” (in collaboration with his brother Otto Bubeníček) was a successful continuation of his rich career as a dancer and a choreographer.
