Totemo, a Czech brand that recycles plastic waste into ingenious toys, won an award at Milan Design Week.
The Czech Totemo building kits, created by designer Adriana Kováčová and her team, won first place in the RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC competition at this year’s Milan Design Week. The prestigious Ro Plastic Prize in the Inspirational Educational Projects category promotes a sustainable approach to plastics and highlights the importance of using and handling them correctly. The curator of the competition, Rossana Orlandi, believes in the importance of the circular economy and its contribution to social and environmental sustainability in the world of design and industry.
